Tax Director
As a director in the Target tax practice, Gavin has been the driving force behind many of the complex tax strategies such as film partnerships that have established Target's formidable tax reputation. He helped found the firm in 1998 and has been closely involved with its phenomenal growth. Gavin worked at KPMG in Bristol for six years before Target, in its Private Client team. There he achieved his CTA qualifications at the unusually early age of 22. Directly managing a specialist tax team of eight, Gavin also oversees a range of different tax work across the practice. His main focus is on innovative tax strategies and the needs of wealthy clients, many of whom he advises personally, A significant amount of experience in corporate tax means that he also contributes regularly to company tax planning and to Corporate Finance transactions.
