Target has grown rapidly from a nationally regarded niche tax consultancy to a multi-disciplinary business advisory firm, with offices across southern England and the Midlands.
Target was established in 1998 by Mark Harman, who joined forces with current Group Managing Director Keith Seeley in 2002. Keith was founder partner of Lathams, which he built up to be the largest independent firm of accountants in the North West before it was acquired by Tenon. Keith’s considerable experience of developing a business advisory firm signalled the start of an ambitious expansion programme that has seen three major acquisitions in as many years. The latest addition to Target’s fold was London-based accountancy firm, Winters, which was acquired in July 2007. This followed the highly successful integration of Rugby accountants Limehouse, Reading accountants Ernest Francis, and Bath-based DNP (David Naish Partnership). Today, Target has an impressive client base of successful owner-managed and family businesses together with high net worth individuals. The practice has advised on over £550 million worth of deals in the past two years and entered the UK league table for the top 50 accountancy practices in 2006. The latest acquisition places them in the Top 30. |
